Export and print
When the plan looks good, Export lets you take it into the workshop or a spreadsheet. Choose from CSV spreadsheet and Print cut sheets.

CSV is handy for spreadsheets; use its section column to tell the different row types apart. Print gives you the visual cutting sheets.
Print cut sheets
Print cut sheets opens your browser's print dialog. SawWise does not generate a native PDF file.
To make a PDF:
- Select Export.
- Select Print cut sheets.
- In the browser or operating-system print dialog, choose Save as PDF if available.
- Check the preview and save the file.
The printed output is a separate workshop document rather than a printout of the app. Each planned sheet stays on one landscape page and includes only its full 2D layout, component names and dimensions, and numbered cut dimensions. A compact component key keeps narrow parts identifiable when their full label cannot fit inside the drawing.
Warnings, shopping totals, settings, efficiency figures, progress controls, and other screen-only information are left out. Use the printed dimension text rather than measuring the scaled diagram with a ruler.
What appears in each format
The live app has the most detail because it combines:
- Needs review items.
- Material clues and conflicts.
- Loose-geometry diagnostics.
- Unknown and low-confidence parts.
- Full-sheet fallback and unplaced-panel notes.
- Interactive 2D/3D inspection and cut dependencies.
Exports simplify that information for their particular job, so finish any part choices in the app first.
A simple export routine
- Finish your choices in Parts and look over the plans.
- Choose the units and export format you want.
- Open the download or print preview to check the layout.
- Add a date or version if you have several workshop copies floating around.
Export snapshots
Exports are snapshots of the current result rather than SawWise project files. To recalculate after changing the model, import the .skp again.
They stick to the information SawWise knows, so add any workshop labels, edge-banding notes, hardware operations, or prices that are useful for your build.
Before cutting from a printout: Match it to the real workpiece and mark your datum and blade side. If the material differs from the page, update the plan rather than trying to make it fit.
