Your model stays on your device

You choose a SketchUp file from your device, then SawWise reads and processes its contents in your browser without sending the model to a SawWise server.

SketchUp model processing

When you choose a `.skp` file, SawWise reads it locally using browser code and web workers. SawWise does not transmit the model file, extracted parts or generated cutting plan to a SawWise server. There is no user account or cloud project storage.

Browser storage

SawWise may use browser storage to retain settings, display units, stock choices, project-specific part overrides and offcut inventory. This information remains under the control of the browser profile on the device. Clearing site data can remove it.

Aggregate analytics

SawWise uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and diagnose availability. It is configured outside the model-processing workflow and does not receive the contents of SketchUp files or generated plans from SawWise.

Links to social profiles and other websites are governed by those services' privacy policies. Choosing to send feedback opens the user's email application; the email provider then processes the message under its own terms.

Changes

This page will be updated if the data flow changes. SawWise should not claim local-only model processing if a future feature begins sending model data to a server without a corresponding update and clear user notice.
