Verify every result
Check every quantity, dimension, material, orientation, stock item, kerf and cut against the current SketchUp model, project drawings, supplier information and physical material. Do not buy or cut material solely because a SawWise result appears complete.
What SawWise does not infer
SawWise does not infer joinery, hardware, machining operations, edge treatment, structural suitability, rough-sawn cleanup, end trimming, defects, grain matching, finish-face requirements or an allowance for mistakes. Bounding-box dimensions can be unsuitable for curved, tapered, skewed or otherwise non-rectangular parts.
Workshop safety
A displayed cutting sequence is not a safe operating procedure. SawWise cannot assess the saw, guards, support, workpiece stability, kickback risk, trapped offcuts, minimum safe dimensions, personal protective equipment or the operator's experience. Follow the tool manufacturer's instructions and choose a safe method for each physical cut.
Responsibility
You are responsible for deciding whether a design, purchase and cutting method are correct and safe. If a result is unclear, stop and resolve it in the model or with an appropriately qualified person before proceeding.
